Personality Soft Skills Development Training Workshop Successfully Conducted in DNC

Soft Skills are most important to fine-tune the students’ attitudes, values, beliefs, motivation, desires, feelings, and eagerness to learn,  and students have to make themselves absorbed  in the job market, said the Principal Dr. Babanrao Taywade in the inaugural function of, the Seven Days Personality and Soft Skills Development Training Workshop organized by Entrepreneurship and Skill Development Cell of Dhanwate National College in collaboration with JCI Nagpur, from August 1 to August 8, 2016.  In this competitive era, it is the need to develop students in the colleges, who are acquiring the various soft skills to inculcate the values and develop their attitude and capabilities for the dynamic development of the students.

In the Seven Days Personality and Soft Skills Development Training Workshop,  Jc. Manish Kurjekar, Mr. Vinayak Gavankar, President of JCI Nagpur Central Jc. Arvinder Kour Mehta, Jc. Dharini Selarka, Jc. Rohini Kohali, Jc. Tarun Shrivasta and Jc. Alok Verma imparted the training  on various soft skills viz. attitude, leadership, personality development, stress management, team building, motivation, communication and entrepreneurship development. Dr. Ratnakar D. Bhelkar, Coordinator of IQAC, DNC guided the students at concluding ceremony.

The team of the 20 students organized the workshop under the guidance of Dr. Sangita Jiwankar and under the leadership of Ms. Meera Choudhari. In the inaugural function, Ms. Meera Choudhari delivered introductory speech, Ms. Apeksha Bele introduced the guests, Mr. Vinod Hajare expressed the vote of thanks and Ms. Neesha Jaitwar conducted the programme. In the valedictory function Ms. Pooja Vishwkarma delivered introductory remarks, Mr. Ritesh Bhoyar introduced the guests, Ms. Priya Rai, Rakshak Admane jointly anchored the programme and  Rajat  Gundalwar proposed vote of thanks.

Total 130 students participated in the workshop. Certificates of participation were issued to all participants.  At the last day of the workshop refreshment was given to all participants.

The Coordinator of the Cell, Dr. Sangita Jiwankar motivated the students for their active participation in the training workshop. 150 Students of Dhanwate National College enthusiastically participated in the programme. The Training workshop proved very beneficial for inculcating values amongst students and their overall development.
