The admission process:

The prospectus along with admission form and admission programme is made available to the candidates from the date of appearance of admission notice in newspapers. The filled in forms are received up to the given date. The applications are scrutinized by the admission committee and a merit list is displayed on the notice board. As per the policy and mission of our institution the admission are given to those entire desirous student who approach as per merit list. We give the preference to the students who have passed qualifying examination in first attempt from our institution. We prefer students having minimum 50% marks in aggregate, however depending on the availability of seats the students with lower percentage (up to 35%) are also admitted. The institution gives preference to student having outstanding performance.

Admission for the professional courses- Admission for the professional courses like M.B.A are made as per the directives of DTE Government of Maharashtra. The admissions are made through (CAT) Common Admission Test for self financing courses, admissions are given as per university norms.

The applications are scrutinized by the admission committee and a merit list is prepared and displayed on the notice board. As per the policy and mission of our institution the admissions are given to desirous student who approach as per merit list. We give preference to the students who have passed qualifying examination in first attempt from our institution. We prefer students having minimum the 50% marks in aggregate, however depending on the availability of seats the students with lower percentage (up to 35%) are also admitted. Admission Process and student profile is reviewed and discussed in the college council meeting annually and suggestions for improvement are studied and implemented wherein possible. The outcome of the suggestions implemented for Admission Process for the session completed is reviewed and new strategies are framed for next session. It has been observed that the strategies framed on the basis of earlier years have shown encouraging results in admissions to Arts Faculty in last two years.

The institution ensures wide publicity to the admission process through prospectus, Institutional Website, www.dhanwatenationalcollege.com. It also publishes admission notice through newspapers having wide circulation.
