Mission of the Library

  • To inculcate reading habits.
  • To make use of every book purchased.
  • To satisfy user’s needs to optimum level.
  • To strengthen the library resources (Print and electronic) to work efficiently as knowledge resource centre.

Apart from the Central Library, the institute has separate library for Management & Professional Courses along with independent Reading Rooms and Reference Sections. The Libraries are well equipped with latest technologies like Computerized Indexing, OPAC System (Computerized Database), Computerized Issue/Return, Bar-Coding and a Photo Copy Section.

Libraries have Indian and Foreign Journals, Magazines, Bound Volumes of Magazines, Compact Disks (CD), Text Book CDs and Audio Cassettes. With more than 75000 text books in the Central Library alone, the institute does give the students, faculty and researchers a serious thought on choice and availability of reference material.

Various facilities in the main library include: Acquisition Section, Circulation Section, Stack Area , Periodical and Journal Section, Reference Section, Internet Zone, Reading Room for Faculty Members, Reading Room for Research Scholars, Reading Room for Student, OPAC for circulation section and OPAC for  Reference section.

Learning Resources 

  1. UGC INFONET Consortia: The college has made available the UGC –INFONET, Digital library consortia, provides current contents as well as archival access to more than 6000 e-journals  and 31,35000 + ebooks for our students and end users.
  2. DELNET Database: The college has made available DELNET services to the members of the library, user can have access to the various services offered by DELNET, especially Inter Library Loan ( I.L.L.) services.
  3. Directory of open access Journals (DOAJ): Free access on web No. of Journals and e-books

  1. Dr. Bhausaheb Panjabrao Deshmukh Collection: College library has maintained special collection on Dr. Bhausaheb Panjabrao Deshmukh. The collection includes books written on him.The collection covers Books and Magazines.
  2. Dr. Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar Collection: College library has maintained special collection on Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar. The collection includes books written by Babasaheb Ambedkar as well as the books written on him on him. The collection covers Books .
  3. Manuscripts: The college library has maintained the special collection of Manuscripts.
