Poster Competition on Geographical Indications
The IP Cell organized Poster Competition on 24th September 2018 on Geographical Indications. In this competition thirteen students have participated. Amongst all participants top 3 selected entries were awarded cash prizes while all the other contributors were given participation certificates.
A Geographical Indication (GI or GItag) is a natural, agricultural or a manufactured product (handicraft and industrial goods) originating from a definite geographical territory. These are an integral part of India’s cultural and collective intellectual heritage which needs to be protected.
